Debbie does Dallas, Richard does Old Hollywood…

There WILL BE a “what’s Richard leaning against?” brainstorming post once the RA Silent Auction (coming to a computer near you this Friday!) is done and dusted, but I’ll leave you with this image I’ve been toying around with:

Richard Armitage Hollywood cinema

I simply refuse to let go of Old Hollywood Richard!

Scientists keep on trying to figure out Viagra for women.

Done!

Here it is, and without any nasty side-effects!

In the meantime, here’s the image and you can start thinking where we’re going to stick Richard 🙂

Do the Armitage Twist!

Regarding yesterday’s post, and the amazing amount of insight and comments that have appeared, I’ll be compiling a post highlighting the main issues that have arisen.

The comments have become a bit muddled because there were so many issues raised, proving that there are things in the RA community that need hashing out, reminding, underlining.

If there’s anything else that you think should be mentioned, please feel free to pop it in comments and I hope to do justice to the wonderful thoughts that you have shared 🙂

Now back to the scheduled post:

A few days ago there was a post of faux movie posters for Richard Armitage projects, those dreamed up by my fab readers.

One especially stuck with me and I ended up taking things much too much further.

Twisting the Night Away Armitage small

I really liked Richard’s The Hobbit promotion incarnation as he seemed to be channelling a sexy 60s Cary Grant vibe.

From his choice of clothes (first-rate, I was so proud…) down to his slick hairstyle, he just looked like a film star.

I could just imagine him in 50s and 60s Hollywood, at a fancy soiree, sipping on whiskey soda and chatting to Jackie lookalikes.

Tw

I can see him doing the twist and shaking that gorgeous booty 🙂

Never was there an arse so conducive to it!

“We’re gonna twisty, twisty, twisty
Till we tear the house down”

The Twist R Armitage

“My daddy is sleepin’ and mama ain’t around
Yeah, daddy’s just sleepin’ and  mama ain’t around
We’re gonna twisty, twisty, twisty
Till we tear the  house down”

We weren’t born to shake what yo mamma gave, so here’s a lesson from Richard on how to do the twist…

How to do the twist Armitage

So you see, there’s nothing to it!

So pop on some Chubby Checker and:

You twist it to the left and you twist it to the right…

You twist it all over, all night 🙂

Candyman Armitage

“Yeah, twist, baby, baby
Twist, ooh yeah, just like this
Come on, little  miss, and do the twist”

And if you still haven’t gotten the hang of it, here’s a tutorial:

No excuse now not to Do The Twist with an imaginary Richard Armitage 🙂

Have a Heart on Valentine’s Day

First things first, THANK YOU to all of you who have already sent in your cropped features 🙂
I still need more of your face/body parts for my FanstRA4 project, so please send them my way!

Keep them coming please, and I WILL start cold calling (or emailing, as the case may be) to fill my needed quota of a hundred billion (more or less…).

Valenite's Day Pin Up

Scrolling down at the post published at I Want to be a Pin Up, I really do look like a total Armitage creep/weirdo/call the police and get a restraining order, because it’s been RAining Armitage over here for months.

Just call me Miss Pervy Armitage (no, really, I’m planning on officially changing it…).

As part of Valentine’s Day I’ve decided to separate my posts into those that refer more to the official name of my blog, and those that are connected to the Armi-loony in me, which will be posted tomorrow.

Time for the Valentine’s Day Pin Up Girls 🙂

Some people are surprised I embrace Valentine’s Day so much, seeing that I’m single and jaded to the extreme, but I can’t help but support a day that’s all about love, in whatever shape or form it happens to be present in your life.

I wish you true romance  on the 14th of February, chocolates and long-stemmed roses from a passionate lover, champagne and some extra vigorous chandelier sex.

Then again, if you happen to be like me and you don’t even have a proper chandelier to hang from, I wish you the feeling of being loved by friends and family 🙂

If you can’t love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else?!?!?

This needed to be done…

Richard Armitage New York glamour December 2012 glasses taxi

I just have time for a quick post today.

The following needed to be done badly…

Richard Armitage glasses

I can only regret that it stylists didn’t see fit to incorporate the glasses, therefore forcing me to bend reality using my trusty Photoshop.

We’ve waited forever for people to realise what a wonderful actor Richard is, now I’ll be waiting eternity for some stylist to realise he looks amazing in glasses.

People need to go back and rewatch Armitage stuff, like a certain John pretending to be Lucas pretending to be a Russian millionaire…

This girl could really make passes at such a guy wearing glasses…

Dear stylists, snap to it 🙂

I want Candy… Eye Candy that is…

I’m busy with college this weekend, so I’d just like to leave you with a few hot pics to help you combat the frosty weather 🙂

Here are a few collages of my favorite Richard Armitage photo shoots representing the past, present, and future and His Highness Gorgeousness I (and hopefully the start of an equally beautiful dynasty).

The past from 2010, during the ‘blue Lucas’ phase

The stance, the beautiful blue eyes and Prada shirt.

And the jeans with no room… for error 😉

Richard Armitage 2010 Blue

The present favorite from December, taken in New York during The Hobbit promotion.

Armitage goes for a more youthful look (Yo! Dude, love the hoodie man!!!), but I like this shoot mostly because it’s so animated and ‘real’.

I like a man who’s good with his hands… errrr… meant to say a man who talks with his hands…

And hopefully Richard’s future styling from now on, from Glamour Magazine UK

The classical styling kills me and I adore the hairstyle.

He even looks like he smells fabulous!

Scratch and sniff…

Sniff and melt…

Melt and scratch… and repeat the process…

What’s your favorite photo shoot?

Cooling Down in 2013

snowman cool down hot dwarves

There have been plenty of those filthy Hobbitses (as Gollum would call them) and Dwarveses here lately, but then how often do you get to cheer your favorite actor on while he promotes one of the most important movies in his career?

2013 is upon us and I was thinking of making a list of my New Year’s Resolutions until I realised they’d be pretty much the same as last year.

Makes me think that perhaps these resolution don’t work too well or maybe don’t know how to work them.

I find myself in the same spot year after year, so maybe I do suffer from one of  the worst ailment known to mankind:

I keep doing the same things and expect different results!

The question is how the heck does this hamster get off the wheel.

How about some new ideas that could change things up?

This list makes sense:

How about just breathing and enjoying life?

What would life be like if we accessed our inner Pin Up and face each life with a smile (not to mention showing plenty of leg…).

Anyway, here are some beautiful ski bunnies to inspire us this winter.

Never thought I’d say this, but Richard is a bit of a Rebel

New picture… *drool*…

*thump, passed out…*

While I’m out, the discussion of what the interview says is raging on Twitter.

What I do know, subconsciously of course, is that it comes from HERE.

richard-armitage-glasses

OK, I’m back in the room!

Is it just me, or is Richard channeling a bit of a James Dean vibe here?

The simple white shirt covering a beautiful pair of arms.

I like the ‘don’t give a damn’ look he’s sporting.

Talk about a boy with attitude!

How about the hair?

Ricard has a bit of a modern Pompadour and AgzyM approves 🙂

I adore retro boys!

He looks young, fresh, cool and relaxed, and the mini-tan is killer.

The wall behind Richard was scratched by adoring fans driven crazy by his sexiness!

He can be my rebel without a cause any day 🙂

When I know about the Spanish magazine article, I’ll update the post.

UPDATE: The wonderful ‏@ANGEMAR4 is translating the text on Twitter as I type!

Thank you so much my dear 🙂

Ps. After posting I realised this new image of Richard works beautifully with my blog background.

A match made in heaven 🙂

More UPDATES: Servetus has translated the article and hopefully is will soon appear on RANet.

I’m not sure if I’ll be up by the time that happens, so just follow the link and enjoy.

It’s days like today that make me love our fandom more than ever!

Walt Otto’s Pin Up Girls

Autumn is slowly slipping away from us, but I found these beautiful illustrations by Walt Otto that are reminiscent of harvest season.

They are very wholesome indeed 🙂

Burlesque Pin up girl

I’ve decided to present a different style of Pin Up today.

There’s something eye-catching about the marriage of 40s and 50s sensuality with  an Art Nouveau feel and a modern twist.

Oneq Nao is a very interesting Japanese artist, and I can’t wait to see more.
