I’ve decided to cut down on the ‘nuts’ regarding The Hobbit and focus on other things till mid December.
You might say I’ve put myself in a Thorin time out as it’s getting crazier by the day.
I started feeling a bit annoyed with all the merchandise on offer and the expectation that I’d want to spend any money before I know if the movie is any good.
Yes, I know the film will be amazing, but I’d like to be given a chance to make my own mind.
I really just want to see the film as oppose to reading about it and being teased with it.
Just when I thought I’d be keeping my cool, I came across the images from EMPIRE Magazine Cover.
They really aren’t making things easy on me 🙂
The images are mesmerizing and makes me think that Sir PJ is using some witchcraft to get us all hooked.

By the way, I’ve come across my first Polish poster and it was extremely underwhelming and here’s why.
Firstly, the only image I’ve seen is of Gandalf.
It’s not that I don’t like the quirky wizard, but he’s no Thorin.
Secondly, check out what it says at the bottom of the poster.
It translates as:

Well, I think that’s only fair! Why should Australians have to wait until 26 Dec when we’re so close to NZ? Who on earth decided that – bloody Americans at WB I bet! I’m sure it wasn’t PJ although you keep blaming him for the commercialism – what about WB – they make a huge profit, too!
I blame Sir PJ because I need to put a face to a problem 🙂 I’m not saying it’s fair or accurate, it’s just easier to blame him than a nameless bunch at WB. Of course I know he doesn’t have much (if anything) to do with schedules. I just don’t know anyone else I can point a finger at.
Regarding the date of release, I think it’s just plain offensive to make some countries wait. All the films I can think of are released at the same time across the EU, like the last Twilight film. Why they would make such a distinction for The Hobbit is really unclear, but it really upsets me!
AgzyM, a friend and I were just talking about the marketing in email. I’m going to be sick of it before it even opens at this rate.
I can’t even find a release date for Spain. For all I know, it could be January…
I love these animations! When I saw Thorin I was speechless. And really would like to have the Empire with Thorin in 3D.*Sigh*

I’d try Empik for the Empire magazine. I’ve decided not to spend a penny before I see the film, but that’d be a cool thing to have 🙂

Agzy darling, I feel your pain, but take heart, you’ll see the film with us on the 13th Dec!!! That poster is a mystery to me. The film is called The Hobbit not The Wizard after all! 🙂 Btw, these moving posters are all the rage in London, I couldn’t turn anywhere on the tube without Daniel Craig pointing a gun at me..LOL Please don’t kill me Mr. Bond I have plans for December! 🙂

By the way, here are a few things I’d enjoy Daniel Craig could do in 3D to make me happy and none of them have anything to go with guns 😉 They need to get more creative if they want to appeal to the female members of society 😉
Tell you what Agzy, I’ll let DC do all those nice things to make you happy which have nothing to do with guns, meanwhile, can I have Thorin do the same things to make me happy? 🙂 I have a tiny problem with DC- sorry DC fans- he has no neck! 😀 I prefer men with long(er) necks!
