Happy Labor Day and Werk it, Mr Armitage!

I’ve noticed it’s been a while since I posted RA related stuff, time for a quick fix, me thinks!

The gods of the friendly calendar have granted a nice long weekend to us humble hard-working Poles.

It is one of my favorite times of the year– the so-called May Holidays, a string of free days: Labor Day, Flag Day and Constitution Day, all attached to the weekend.

Today is May 1st- Labor Day, which ironically is actually a very much non-laboring day (unless you count those dozens of flowers I shall be planting to perk up the garden!

Talking about working, Richard has sure done his fair share judging by his imdb list of upcoming projects.

I haven’t really chimed in on what’s coming up, possibly because I don’t want to get too excited about The Crucible (well, not just yet, don’t want to burn myself out before July…), I can’t really get excited at all about Into the Storm, The Hobbit is a post-summer buzz, so too early for that and all of Richard’s audiobooks were already out by the time I became an Armitage raving loony well-wisher, so it was simply a matter of picking them up as I went along, therefore I don’t know how to get excited about a new one.

That leaves me with one RA project that I am chomping at the bits for and one that has peaked my interest.

I haven’t actually read Urban Grimshaw and the Shred Crew yet, so I’m basing my judgments on what matters- sneaky pics that have been floating on the internet.

What?

They say you should never judge a book by its’ cover, they said nothing about judging it based on set pics of Richard Armitage!

And let me tell you, me likey what I see!

RA-Chop-Leeds-19Mar14

During the Armitage droughts we often contemplate what our dream RA projects would be and let me tell you, this one ticks so many boxes, it almost seems like Richard read my mind (which I wouldn’t mind at all, you are welcome to…well…most of my thoughts…) it’s almost eerie.

Firstly, it’s a UK production and that tells me the chances are it’ll be of high quality.

I’ve also wished to see RA in a gritty part.

Sure, most characters he’s played have been dubious, but there was always an air of propriety, although often times it would be deceiving.

I wanted a Northern accent and dirty fingernails, something so far removed from other things he had done, something that would stand out from other RA characters.

This grimy, gritty feel extends to Chip’s physical appearance, but good luck if you think the man is not going to give you naughty dreams.

It’ll take more than unwashed outgrown Guy hair and a dodgy hat and clothes to discourage filthy thought!

Nice try Richard, but your sexy is showing…

And my absolute favorite picture released so far is:

urban-and-the-shed-crew-instagram

Yes, my most favorite picture of Richard Armitage from his latest project is one where he’s silhouetted against a huge rubbish heap (not a sentence I thought I’d ever type…) and trash has never seemed so appealing or it may just be Richard’s profile and Gizzy hair…

On the Labor Day, may I thank you for all the work you’ve put in, much to the delight of you admirers, and for all the times you Werk it! on the red carpet, during interviews, photoshoots, film sets and the likes ūüôā

A film by any other name is still not on my screen…

A film by any other name is still not on my screen…

Foreword:

In the wee small hours of the morning, I had a mini blogging panic attack with regards to this post which had been scheduled to come out a few hours later.

My main assumption was that tornadoes are accompanied by rain, but this is no Kansas and the closest I’ve ever come to a tornado is that little whirl you get when you¬†pull out the drain plug.

If there’s no rain,¬†I was¬†royally screwed!

I can now confirm that there are “rain-wrapped” tornadoes.

Gary Morris Armitage

Oh, and Richard is actually wet in this pic and that’s all the¬†confirmation I need ūüôā

So without further ado…

Armitage tornado1

There are clearly some issues with Richard’s project that he filmed last year in the US and that we’re still waiting on.

The movie has gone through a list of titles:

Category Six

Black Sky

Now we think (but who really knows…) that it’ll be called:

Into the Storm

My favourite by far is Bccmee’s Tornado of Love, but the film producers seem to be ignoring this far superior option.

So what if it would require minimising the main drizzly and windy plotline in favour of Richard getting hot and heavy with his leading lady?

(Release the weather puns…)

Now that’s a story that would sweep me away!

I actually encourage any shifts that will focus on the love part rather than the tornado one, do you catch my drift?

And if things get breezy and actors get disrobed in the process, I say go with the flow…

But seriously though, I really can’t wait for the tornado movie to come out, they say there’s a twist at the end.

I though that maybe we should give a helping hand and offer some other title alternatives to speed the process up and get Richard onto out screens asap, because waiting is quite a blow!

So make sure your mind is not clouded or in a fog because we may have mist some great film title ideas.

How about:

 The Storm Chaser of Dibley

Harry rain_edytowany-3

There’s something about yellow rain gear that makes me giggle.

You can even protect¬†the essentials from the rain… don’t want things getting damp…

Moving swiftly along… how about:

Gary Hood

Guy rain 1

Guy sure looks miserable enough to know a thing or two about dire conditions.

I can just imagine him standing there, sword in hand, ready to fight the tornado, at the same time blaming the sheriff for it.

Put on your willies, grab the torchlight, put your thinking waterproof cap on and tell me:

What are your tornado movie title ideas?

On Seeing Armitage in Dreams

Continuing the theme of seeing Armitage in the least likely places, I wanted to have a look at how RA may invade our dreams.

Many fans / admirers / RArmy have shared their experiences of dreaming about Sexy Armitage.

These may include the waking dream fantasies.

Some bloggers dare to share their most intimate thoughts with the rest of us, much to my admiration for their courage.

It takes a lot to find the strength to uncover your deepest thoughts, unless you are a raving exhibitionist.

I will ALWAYS support those who wish to find the freedom of expression in their blogs.

Many Armitage dreams are ones that the mind forms during sleep.

Some are, no doubt, so hot and elaborate, they could only be confest anonymously.

I must admit I quite envy those who are have experienced dreams connected to either RA or one of his characters.

I have only ever dreamt in RA terms once, which leads me to conclude¬†that I have an either lazy subconscious, or one lacking imagination and passion ūüėČ

My dream must have been spurred on by the image of Grizzly Gizzy, in front of the fireplace, trying on his suit of armour.

I don’t think I need to go into detail¬†as to¬†why this image in particular seemed to have reflected onto me, but what is interesting is that at that time I hadn’t even seen Robin Hood.

This leads me to think that I must have overloaded on various RA related blogs.

The dream saw me standing in a room across from Guy, who is shirtless, in front of the fire.

I felt like I was peeking at him with fascination, and ducked so he wouldn’t see me.

Of course he did, and gave me the famous Gizzy smirk, knowing full well how handsome he looked, and how ashamed I would feel looking at him in the state of disrobement.

What about your RA dreams?

Care to share?

Which character invaded your dreams?

Was it perhaps the actor himself?
