3 Days till Richard’s Birthday! Operation Armitage Competition!

Welcome to the countdown to Richard Armitage’s Birthday!

This is day FIVE, so we are over half-way in the Operation Armitage competition.

There’s a chance to win an Armitage goodie today and for the next 2 days.

Congratulations to the winners so far!

The winner of yesterday’s competition is:

To read about the rules, please go HERE.

The cotton shopping bag up for grabs today is decorated with the illustration of the battle between brains and bulk!

Thank You Seba, from Gisborne’s Boy, for creating such a lovely pic!

I’d say the pen is mightier, but it’s less fun to swoosh around, pretending you’re Luke Skywalker battling Darth Vader!

Remember that to enter the competition, and get your sharp claws into this item, please leave the answer to the following question in comments.

The question is:

If Richard Armitage wrote an autobiography, what would be its title?

Comments close at 12pm GMT tomorrow, when the next opportunity to win an Armitage shopping bag is posted 🙂

Please make sure I have the means to contact the lucky winner, either by email or Twitter!

Good Luck!

  1. A great job, again!!! 😀

  2. Congratulations, Inge 3D! And congratulations, Mujer Tropical on that fantastic poem about Alec, Guy and Lucas! You’re very creative!
Autobiography title: From Leicester to Hollywood or the story of a late bloomer! 🙂

  3. He’s so modest that I don’t think he would write an autobiography but if he did the title might simply be “Richard Armitage” or “Richard Armitage : a Life”.

  4. John and Margaret’s boy: Adventures Of A Gangly Lad’s Journey From Leicester To The Big Screen.

  5. The title of Richard’s autobiography? Really hard. Nadia has it right, I think – he’d be too modest. So my suggestion: “Out of the limelight”

  6. Congrats Inge and thanks to agzym and Seba for that great competition!

Mmmmh, I think I would love the title: ‘The mill owner, the spy and the dwarf – my journey from Leicester to Hollywood’

  7. Congrats to all winners!!
This cartoon might be my favorite! 😉

    As to the book title:

“Reflections of a Former Beanpole” “So Much Fun to Play the Bad Guy” “My Unexpected Journey”

  8. Congrats, IngeD3!!!
GB, this is the cutest one yet! 😀

Title for the autobiography: I Was a 6′ Dwarf

    🙂

  9. Title of book: “Richard Armitage, To Be the Actor.”
But truth be told I’m not sure if he would like to write an autobiography. *Sigh*
    Btw, I love this illustration!:)

  10. Since Richard, and others, have said that Harry Kennedy is closest to him in real life, I think the title would be taken from that immortal Harry Kennedy quote: “Richard Armitage: Well, There You Go”
(and I agree that he would probable not write about himself, probably someone else – maybe one of us!- would be his biographer)

  11. The title of Richard’s book would be ” I Want to be King”. This is because of him wanting to portray Richard III in a historical context.

  12. Today’s question is a really hard one! If he is ever going to write an autobiography, that won’t be in a while.

The title would be “The Journey of an Actor”.

I so much hope I will be lucky this time as I truly like today’s pic 🙂

  13. I think the whole concept of this weeks competitions is brilliant ! You and Seb have done wonderfully well between you and I want to say thank you 🙂
Anyway , my idea for a title would be
” From Hero to Vilain and Back Again ”

Thanks again guys for all your hard work 🙂 x

  14. “Work is more fun then fun”. 😉
PS: Extremly funny vison of Thorin, Seba!. 😀

  15. Great bag, bravo Sebastian. 🙂

The autobiography title would be : “For my Armitage Army, with love…”. 🙂
