Dress and Undress Richard Armitage

Posted on

Happy FanstRA 3!

We’re in Day Seven of the FanstRAvaganza 3 in The Freeform tagteam chain!

If you missed Day Six, check out the posts at White Rose: Sincere and Simple Thoughts and C.S. Winchester  and Something About Love (A)

Also in Day Two, see my partner’s post at Me, My Thoughts and Richard Armitage and La Loba

I hope you are having a wonderful week! I know I am!

There has been plenty of chatter about RA’s style and thorough analysis of his fashion choices.

We’ve had some hits and quite a few misses.

Some may say Richard is in dire need of a stylist!

I am giving you the chance to style and dress him yourself.

You can also undress him as often as you like…  🙂

I know our love for Richard is bursting at the seams.

Therefore, I present the Richard Armitage Paper Doll and a collection of outfits and accessories.

My designs were inspired by my favorite RA characters and although I’ve taken a little artistic liberty, I hope you enjoy them.

So get your scissors ready and let the fashion show begin!

This is your base.

I recommend that you print him out on high density paper.

Let’s just say Paper Richard needs to be… stiff…

Below, you have an array of fashion styles.

All of them are designed for A4 paper and will fit Stiff Paper Richard.

I suggest you mix and match the different styles and elements.

Maybe a little Gizzy with a Porter scarf?

How about Thornton pants with a Thorin fur coat?

Just go crazy with it!

And if you feel you’d like to leave him in his tighty whities, that OK too.

Just remember to borrow a scarf from Harry, as it does get nippy in the evenings…

Let’s start with naughty Gizzy! Oh, he was never what he seamed…

Feel free to take Porter’s style, before starting each commando expedition, John is debriefed…

Celebrate the looming Hobbit premier with a little Thorin fashion…

Our beloved Spooks character may have been stitched up by the writers, but his tight jeans were always fitting…

In his ironed shirt and waistcoat, John Thornton had a lot of pressing matters to attend to…

Harry is handsome, smart and romantic.

I guess you could say he’s a triple thread…

And last, but not least!

As long as Richard is well rested, nothing else really mattress…

I hope you enjoy Paper Richard!

Make sure you check out my FanstRA 3  tagteam buddies, you will find details at the top.

The way I see it, it’s much better to read a post twice than to have never clicked on it at all!

Think of all the fun you might be missing, not to mention not being able to have your voice heard by commenting 🙂

  2. Laughing so hard right now. I love you! I’m totally printing these. They will make up for my lack of Little Guys. I love the nightwear the best, although I doubt he wears that much, probably just the teddy bear. You are the best! Great job! 😀

  6. Oh, THANK YOU! It’s the answer to my wish. If only we had ink in the colored inkjet printer and I was connected to it–but even simply picturing these ensembles in my mind makes me quite happy, my dear. It’s as if my childhood has returned, but with a more grown-up angle to it. 😉

  10. OMG… Speechless…. Love the ‘naked’ RA socks…. LOL!!!

    • I went for a compromise of footwear that wouldn’t look like socks and would match all the other outfits. Not an easy task. As long as he didn’t have Paul from Between the Sheets socks! Thanks Luciana! 😉

      • Very curious about Paul’s socks (giggles)!!
This dress/undress activity is addicting… lol… can’t decide which outfit I like the most… What a problem I have… RA looks great in anything he wears (sigh)!!!

You know, this HAS to be a standing series now of course!!! These are really so lovely. I notice you even used ‘Camella’ in the John Porter shirt. 😉

    • Hey UK Expat. Let’s just say that if there’s a legion of Paper Richard’s, I shall feel obligated to make sure they have a new wardrobe every so often! We can’t have them dressing badly, especially under our charge! So happy you liked it 😉

    • Thanks Beachbaby! Your name made me realise Paper Ricard had nothing to wear for the upcoming summer! Very happy you approve 😉

      • Well I’m going into winter here 😉 but a summer outfit would be just great. Though Mr BB was disappointed that Pillip Durrant didn’t rate an outfit LOL

        Reply
        • Interesting about Phillip Durrant, I don’t think that outfit crossed my mind, but it would be challanging. I don’t think he’s that big amongst RA admirers. I would have loved to add Mulligan, but I can’t stand drawing shirts and jackets 😉

  20. You are so funny! Great stuff. Loved the dark army socks on Underwear RA. Oh dear, those chocolate fan pants plus army socks? Thorin, unfortunately, would not be approved of PETA or BB. Oh well, can’t please everyone. (Anyway, no doubt it’s faux-fur 😀

    • I assure you no animals were harmed in the process of creating Paper Richard’s outfits, Fitzg. They all dropped dead on sight of him and we simply decided to make the best of a bad thing 😉

      • Giggle, and still giggling!

        • My sister said I crossed the line with this answer to a comment. For the record, I’m a vegetarian and have never designed a collection that uses fur or leather. In fact it is the strict policy of my Fashion College for students not too!
Having said that, we are talking about a fictitious character and paper clothes 😉

  23. PinUp, for sure you deserve to start your own brand as a fashion designer or, in alternative, a career as wardrobe consultant (or fashion advisor, what do you prefer?).
This is a fantastic job you have done! I will treasure your post until my new ink-jet printer will be available at home *sigh*

I only noticed that our Super-Model has slender hips in your drawing. And what about the celebrated “Prize Tights” one of our preferred blogger and writer often talks about? Did he avoid to train himself regularly, in order to be ready for the catwalk, instead? LOL!!

    • Thanks Carla! RA has changed his body shape so many times, I tried to compromise (as long as it wasn’t Lucas early season 7).
Not enough paper in the world could do those thunder thighs justice 😉 LOL
It’s exactly a year since I graduated with a fashion design degree. I decided not to get involve in the fashion biz, so It seems like I was studying just to, one day, design a set of clother for Paper RA. I call that fate!
